此插件连接到麦克风,并使用MicrosoftCognitiveServices(微软认知服务)实时转录由语音生成的基于关键字的数据。

BelgianInternet Provider Deploys Voice-Activated Banners That React to GamerRage

FCBEMEA, Thu, May 02, 2019

Sincethe internet has become an integrated part of our daily lives, connection speed has become a main battleground. It’s one of themain reasons to switch provider. VOO, one of the main telecomproviders in Belgium, has invested in technology allowing to offerits customers a connection speed up to four times faster than itscompetitors.

VOO'sdesired goal is now to gain market (and heart) share within thefast-growing video game community, and more specifically within thecommunity of people who watch other people broadcast their gamesonline, on platforms such as YouTube Live and Twitch. It’s agigantic industry that attracts on average more viewers than sport onTV.

Obviously, for this community of die-hard video game streamers and viewers, itis crucial to have a fast connection.

That’swhy Happiness, an FCB alliance, has created 'Raging Banners', theworld’s first real-time voice-activated banners, that only appearon viewers screens when a gamer starts raging about the slowness oftheir internet connection. Their rage is even written down in theanimated banner.

First, they programmed an OBS plug-in, which is the most used software foronline game streams. This plug-in connects to the microphone and usesMicrosoft Cognitive Services to transcribe, in real-time, thekeywords-based data, generated by the voice. Then the team programmedevery possible keyword related to 'slow internet', and yes, thatincluded some serious swearing. Once 'Internet Rage' was detected, ananimated banner automatically appeared during the livestream. Atechnical achievement that worked on both YouTube Live and Twitch andis a world first.

Happinessthen collaborated with prominent gamers - about 20 players with anaverage of more than 100,000 subscribers each - who downloaded theplug-in. And waited for their internet to drag... so they would ragea bit.

Becausemoments of internet rage due to a slow speed are probably the bestoccasions to remind people that it’s time to switch to VOO'sultra-fast internet.
